The 12.45 goods train from Priory goods yard was late off the siding as there was a delay in emptying the train. It has now missed its time slot and the rest of the afternoon is timetabled to be busy. The is no chance of fitting in to the operations of the railway without delaying other service so a early running goods going the same way was stopped and two long set were made into one. Two engines are tackeled with the task of getting to there destination on time without delay or wheel slip. Not a problem?

Lady Vandeleur has been given the task of doing the mid-week mixed passenger and goods train. This is the only train of the day. This loco now has been fitted with a DJB Silver Lady Whistle and it looks and works fantastically under high pressure. On some of the track shots you will be able to hear a clicking noise coming from the loco, This has come and gone before but will need a little TLC this summer. Filmed at the Charnwood Forest Garden Railway, Rothley Station Great Central Railway, 21/4/2011.
